At The Michener Institute, you have three main accounts. You may forget the password to one or all of these accounts, in which case you will need to reset it. In this article we show you how to do that for your three main accounts. For an explanation on the differences between these accounts, see this article: Information on your Accounts.
Main Account
This password automatically expires every 150 days, so you will be forced to reset it then at the webmail login page, located at https://outlook.office.com. If you forget your password or would like to reset it earlier, you will need to contact the helpdesk via phone, email or ticket.

Blackboard
For students enrolled after 2021, and all staff & faculty: Your Blackboard account is the same as your "Main Account" and uses that login system. Please login with that password, if you've forgotten it, follow the instructions above to reset it.
For students enrolled before 2021: Your Blackboard password does not expire. If you need to reset it you can do so by emailing helpdesk@michener.ca during business hours (8AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday) to open a ticket, or bbsupport@michener.ca after hours and on weekends.
Self-Service
Your Self-Service portal account password can only be reset using the tool available at students.michener.ca. On that page, click the "Forgot Password" link and follow the instructions. The Helpdesk (helpdesk@michener.ca) can happily assist you with the process if you're having trouble.
